As expected, Sony unveiled its new, more powerful PlayStation console, which is called PlayStation 4 Pro. It will launch on November 10, 2016 and cost $399/£349/A$560.
The console will complement the standard PS4 and sit alongside it. The name was picked to show that it is part of the current version of the console, but aimed at the higher-end gamers. It is not an entirely new architecture and thus not a new generation of PlayStation hardware
During the PlayStation Meeting event, Andrew House, president and group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, discussed Sony’s decision to pursue 4K and HDR, which are two of the major new features the PS4 Pro enables. House described these as “natural” paths of progression for visual fidelity. He went on to introduce lead architect Mark Cerny, who said Sony’s vision is to “take the PS4 experience to extraordinary new levels.”
The same discs and downloads will run on both models of PS4 but play in different ways. Sony has said it is asking publishing partners to consider how they can best use PS4 Pro on standard HDTVs and 4K.

IS IT WORTH BUYING?
I think it’s not(my views)
It has a RX480 card which in PCs gaming is considered to perform a decent job of handling 1440p(also known as 2k) in gaming PCs this concludes that Ps4 pro is not actually built to handle 4K it is being forced to handle it.
Also for experiencing all the new it has to offer you need to have a 4K television which it not so common and is very costly.
So I suggest you to stick with the PlayStation 4 unless you don’t have loads to money to spend on useless gadgets…………..
The new dualshock 4:
According to the information sent over, the latest DualShock 4 allows the light from the light bar to emit on the touch pad, making a new luminous line in the same color as that of the light bar. This provides the user with more “visual information,” such as which character they control or the status of the character’s health all at a glance.
A redesigned PlayStation Camera was also announced, and it contains the same features available on the current model including PlayStation VR support. The only difference, is it is more stylish with its new, compact cylindrical form. Sexy. It also comes with a stand so that users can adjust the angle.
The Wireless Headset:
The Platinum Wireless Headset was also announced as a “high-end gaming headset” which sports “premium construction and materials for extra comfort.” It provides the user with positional 7.1 virtual surround sound powered by SIE’s proprietary 3D audio technology.
Select PS4 games supporting 3D audio for the headset will deliver surround sound from all directions, including above and below.
The new premium headset also features multi-position, hidden noise-cancelling microphones for clearer chat and is also compatible with PS VR and mobile devices using an included 3.5mm audio cable.
Those looking to purchase this particular peripheral will have to fork over $159/€179/£129.
